Department 74 – Relations with the public and institutions

It is the Ministry's liaison with the media and the public. It is responsible for the Ministry's internal communications. It organises the Ministry's press conferences. It is responsible for the overall content, structure and communication strategy of the Ministry's Internet, Intranet and departmental websites; it publishes the current opinions of the Minister and the Ministry on these websites. It ensures the organizational and administrative activities of the Editorial Board. It organises, coordinates and provides information in accordance with Act No. 106/1999 Coll. It ensures the organisational and administrative activities of the Commission for Administrative Proceedings on Appeals against Decisions of the Ministry in Matters of Provision of Information pursuant to Act No. 106/1999 Coll.

It creates working conditions for the performance of the Minister's tasks, ensures the comprehensive organisational performance of the Minister's constitutional powers and coordinates cooperation with other departments and the OSS. It coordinates and ensures the performance of the file service for the Minister. It ensures the Ministry's relations with the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, the Office of the President of the Republic and other bodies and institutions. It formally checks the documents prepared for the meetings of the Government, the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the meeting of the Ministry's management and other meetings. It ensures the administrative and organisational performance of the Minister's tasks as a member of the Government in cooperation with the Cabinet of Ministers. It organises and administratively ensures the activities of the Ministry's management meeting as a permanent advisory body to the Minister.
