Meeting of foreign experts - Analysis of Public Financial Management and Control
On 13 June 2022, a meeting of representatives of the Central Harmonization Unit of the Ministry of Finance, the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University and foreign experts took place. In the project Strengthening Public Finance Management and Control, foreign experts prepare an Analysis of Public Finance Management and Control, which focuses on identifying weaknesses and strengths in the public finance management and control system in the Czech Republic, comparisons with selected countries and formulating good practice recommendations. The countries selected to collect examples of good practice are Italy, Germany and France.
The meeting took place in the Ministry of Finance and was attended in person by experts from the University of Bologna, the University of Paris and the University of Udine. At the meeting, Professor Emanuel Padovani from the University of Bologna presented the current version of the analysis with preliminary conclusions and discussed with other participants in the wording meeting in connection with the specifics of the Czech public finance management and control system. The Ministry of Finance considered the priority to be sufficiently founded for the individual statements and recommendations arising from the analysis.
The following day, a follow-up meeting took place between representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University and foreign experts.
