Project partner exchange - Strengthening Public Finance Management and Control
In December 2021, an amendment to the program agreement was approved concerning a substantial change in the Strengthening Public Finance Management and Control project. Due to administrative obstacles, cooperation with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) was withdrawn. This change does not affect the purpose of the project. The replacement of the partnership with the OECD and the activities of the OECD will be ensured by expanding cooperation with the current project partner – the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University. The Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University will prepare the Analysis of public financial management and control, in which 5 experts from prestigious European universities (University of Bologna, Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, University of Paris, University of Udine) will participate. The aim of this analysis is to independently assess and evaluate the current set-up of the public financial management and control system in the Czech Republic in terms of international context, based on comparisons with selected countries (Italy, Germany, France).
