Department 13 – Economic Administration
The Department provides, organises and carries out the activities and services necessary for the operation of the Ministry. It ensures the management of land, buildings and property used by the Ministry for its activities. It is responsible for the organisation and operation of the Ministry's reserved car parks, with the exception of Letenská 15. It performs tasks in the field of investment construction and energy management. It is responsible for the development and implementation of the Ministry's State Energy Concept, including its departmental organisations. It is responsible for the methodology of the filing service, except in the field of classified information, and for tasks related to the function of the administrative archive. It ensures and determines the dislocation of the Ministry's departments and other entities located in buildings under the Ministry's management. It is responsible for the management of real estate owned by the Czech Republic, which is managed by the Ministry, except for real estate managed by the Indemnities and Compensation Department. It provides economic activities related to the reproduction of assets and the operation of the Ministry. It manages the operational agenda of the Office of the Financial Arbitrator. It operates the Ministry's accommodation facilities. It manages the Ministry's printing and multifunctional equipment, including consumables, and other print services. It provides services for the provision of childcare in a playgroup. It manages methodically, ensures and controls the performance of tasks in the field of fire protection and occupational health and safety at the Ministry and in departmental organisations. It carries out the inspection of work safety pursuant to Act No. 251/2005 Coll. and supervises safety in the performance of customs administration services pursuant to Act No. 361/2003 Coll. In cooperation with the Committee for Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Occupational Diseases, it conducts investigations of occupational injuries and proposes compensation.
