* The auction limit set by an Article IX of Rules for the Primary Sale of Government Securities Organised by the Czech National Bank is cancelled for this auction based on the right of the issuer. Starting with the 157th issue of government bonds, the period from the record date to the date of redemption or interest payment, is shortened to three business days.
In the 3rd quarter of 2024, the planned total nominal value of CZK-denominated medium-term and long-term government bonds sold in the auctions is set at the indicative amount up to CZK 75.0 bn.
The Ministry of Finance reserves the right to switch offered government bonds to government bonds with similar maturity on the day of auction announcement at the latest.
Non-competitive part of auction closes the next business day at 12:00 p.m. CET.
In case of confirmed interest from investors based on communication with primary dealers and dealers of Czech government securities, it may be decided to add an auction day for the first tranche of the medium-term/long-term EUR-denominated government bond issued under Czech law in the 3rd quarter of 2024, which would be announced by the Ministry of Finance well in advance.
